Walking on Malta

33 walks on the Mediterranean islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino

Klappentext:

The Maltese islands lie in the heart of the Mediterranean and have a history stretching back seven millennia. Together with the sun, sea and rugged cliffs, Malta's unique history – from Megalithic temples to Medieval fortresses – makes walking on Malta, Gozo and Comino exceptionally varied and fascinating.

The routes in this guidebook range from 2.5 km to 22 km, and feature heritage trails, including a tour of Valletta, easy strolls and long, challenging day walks, such as the route which explores the Victoria Lines – a fortified ridge running the length of Malta – or the circuit of Comino. Whether circular or linear, the walks explore the best sights and scenery these small, but complex islands have to offer.
