Let Fair Weather Bring Me Home revolves around a number of characters living on the small Mediterranean island of Malta, then a British colony, in the 1930s. It tells the anguished story of a mother who is reunited with her son, born out of wedlock and raised in a Roman Catholic Church institution.
Über die Autorin / über den Autor:Oliver Friggieri, born in Malta in 1947, is a renowned novelist, poet and scholar whose works have been translated into numerous languages and published throughout the world. He is Professor of Literature at the University of Malta and the winner of various international prizes. His long list of books includes about sixty which have been launched outside his native country. His novel Children Come By Ship was launched by Austin Macauley Publishers Ltd in 2013.
